Loba’s Inspiration - “This piece was pivotal for me. Here’s why. My love for murals was born in the early 2000’s when I learned about Banksy, Shepard Fairey, and the street artists who were beginning to make money off of their illegal activities. That concept was… motivating. I didn’t grow up in a culture where people were “tagging” and none of my friends knew how to spray paint. So I first learned to paint with a brush. This piece is pivotal for me because it is 100% spray paint and the font is original.
